If you want to really have a healthy nails begin within. Eating proper foods and nutrients will help nails and not only that. But if your problems just arises with your nails here are some tips that may help your nails.

Moisturize nail beds regularly with a nondrying nail lotion. Rub the lotion over the entire nail bed at least once a day.
Wear rubber gloves whenever you use cleaning products, wash dishes or work in your garden to protect your nails from chemicals and dirt

Trim cuticles once each week. Soften cuticles with a specialized cuticle cream, then trim carefully with a cuticle clipper.

Clip your nails regularly in a rounded or squared shape. The pointier the tip of your fingernail, the more likely it is to break off

Give your nails a break from polish as often as possible. The more time your nails spend in the nude, the less they will dry and chip.

Avoid biting your nails. Biting is a surefire way to create unhealthy and unsightly nails.
If you develop ridges along the base of your nail bed, increase your intake of vitamin B.

If you want to fix the brittleness of your fingernails, this are my readings I hope it will help enough.
Moisturize your cuticles on a daily basis. By keeping your cuticles moisturized, you are encouraging strong nail growth from the root.Incorporate plenty of vitamins A, B, C and D into your daily diet. These vitamins can be found in many fruits, vegetables, fish, liver and whole grains. You can supplement your diet with vitamins in pill form, such as One-A-Day Centrum.Include plenty of calcium in your diet. Sources of calcium are milk, cheese and other dairy products.Drink plenty of water to keep your nails hydrated.Use a silicone nail polish to protect your nails and keep them strong. Silicone is also available as a supplement in the form of orthosilicic acid. You can purchase this supplement from your local health food store. Consuming leafy greens also incorporates silicone into your diet.

    Have a nice day
